There is an important co-dependency between design and business. In the words of Terence Conran, “A businessman with little knowledge of design is unlikely to be a very good businessman, and a designer with no knowledge of business is unlikely to remain a designer for very long”.



I recently found the first ever design document I created, from back in 2000.

The Heygate Estate was a massive housing complex in Elephant & Castle, South London, built in the 1970s as part of the post-war social housing boom. Originally home to over 3,000 people, it became a symbol of both the promise and failure of modernist urban planning.
