Painting on wood
· One min read
A seascape painted on a scrap of wood — little white-sailed ships dotted across a dark sea, under a deep red sky with a headland in the distance. Found the wood, found some paint, and just went for it.

Sometimes the best canvas is whatever's lying around. This was a rough offcut of wood that I painted a simple, moody seascape onto — a fleet of tiny ships on a dark ocean beneath a red sky. Not exactly a masterpiece, but satisfying to make something from nothing.
